Turkish bread instead of burger buns. Soaks up the butter and juices deliciously.

I don't think I've tried Turkish bread.

I found some minced beef from August 2021 hiding in the deep freeze. Made bolognaise with it. Onion, garlic, mince, and kidney beans bolognaise....

Got a couple of grumblings over the beans in it, rather than the freezer burnt mince that was a dark shade before browning (although it passed the sniff test and was cooked with a dose of vinegar for safety)....

If they can dig up Wooly Mammoths in Siberia and have a barbecue, the mince should be fine.

So far, no upset tummies.
Blahhhhhh...

I don't like lamb, but they look so good.

I eat meat sparingly, but when I cook it, I do it delicately and rare. Emphasis on the juices and appropriate herbs, spices and sauces. All the meat I cook is generally underdone. I feel too many people over cook meat leaving it mostly tasteless and rubberised. Cooking this way(rare/med-rare) for flavour can only be done in countries with high health and safety standards. Doing this in many parts of Africa, meant a belly full of worms.
