Also I was just reading some call the Irish trade a myth, but it's not from the books I have read over the years. The Irish, and English poor even was sold, bought by people in the colonies. Call them servants if you wish, but the word servant goes hand in hand with servitude.

I have also read that children where sold, and bought even up till recent times for hard labor on farms, and mills.

Very sad subject in this thread, but good to know the past.
