There is a diner here that I like to go to. When I go inside, it feels like I am transported to the 50s-60s. I like going there. I put a quarter in the juke box and enjoy a milkshake and other basics.

There is something like that in Red Deer in gasoline alley. If I have to go down to cow town for biz, I occasionally drop in. Don't usually buy much though as everything is so fattening.

I bet some people have real homesickness for the past. Do you ever meet people who look like they came off a worm hole from the 50s? I had a neighbor like that. His hair was greased. He wored plaid shirts and tucked them in his pants and they were high waisted. He drove a very old car. There was nothing modern about him.

This is a lot better than the styles in that other picture you posted. Those hairstyles look like they should be in the Smithsonian.

My Dad drove me to school in his old car, a Taunus. I did not appreciate it at the time.
