I do not decry consumerism, or capitalism. I oppose America's rampant embrace, to the extent that it regards ANY commodity as a consumable, regardless of consequences. Fast food. Tobacco. Religion. Politics. Violence. Sex. No human demand or desire is disregarded if a buck is to be made.



Nothing succeeds like excess in the US, regardless of the disease, illness, psychological impairment, misery and diviseness it causes.



Buying an Apple watch does not compromise my position, as it does not promote any of these, and it keeps Chinese workers in employment.
