No I'm not joking. BBWcon is a big deal In the size acceptance community. I used to go every year but I haven't gone since 2007. It basically revolves around the yearly award ceremony for all the BBW and SSBBW web models. It's kinda similar to the adult entertainment convention that's held in Vegas every year.

But even before that, big yearly BBW Bashs were unofficially held in Vegas, Reno, NYC and Chicago. Smaller ones where held all over the place. You could usually find one going on in the spring, summer, fall and around Christmas. Dimensions Magazine used to and I think still does have a forum dedicated to Bashes segregated and set up by region (east, west, south, etc.) They have been taking place in one form or another since the net started making it possible for people to easily link up.



This is the first year it is being heavily promoted, not sure if that's good or bad.

Our last one as a family was to Disneyland in California..



We had hoped to take our children to see their cousins and other relatives in Taiwan next year, but in light of our current financial situation that is not likely to happen.
