This has been around for years, and its not all its cracked up to be. Its uses are limited, application is difficult, the chemicals used are toxic and emit unpleasant vapour, and it is not a once-off treatment.



It's basically a chemical coating of water repellant material that has been around for years. That material is an acetate. Acetates are not earth friendly.



And then there is the cost. Its significant, and for what is a limited use, short term, toxic chemical, the numbers do not add up.

Undercoating of cars and eventually surface coating (Nissan is all over it).
