The price of everything is going up.

You got that right. Everything, it seems.

Including our auto insurance even though we don't have any claims.

Our insurance hasn't gone up and I've had 2 at fault claims in the past 10 years.

I don't know what to tell you other than our rates went up..



Our daughter is a part time driver on our insurance.

Instead of building 900,000 vehicles in September, Toyota said this week it will make around 540,000. It's the first massive drop for the automaker, which so far has been weathering the pandemic storm relatively well.

According to preliminary estimates from the Urban–Brookings Tax Policy Center released last week, nearly 61 percent of U.S. households paid no federal income taxes in 2020, up from 44 percent in 2019.



The data show that out of 176.2 million individuals and married couples who could file a tax return, 144.5 million of them actually filed and about 107 million paid no federal income taxes last year, compared to 75.9 million in 2019.



The share of households that pay no income tax is projected to remain high at nearly 57 percent in 2021, according to the estimates.

The Federal Reserve's preferred inflation gauge, the so-called core personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index, vaulted in the 12 months through July to levels not seen in 30 years.



The Commerce Department said in a release Friday that core PCE rose 3.6 percent over the year in July, matching last month's level, which was an increase from 3.5 percent in May and 3.1 percent in April.



The last time the core PCE inflation gauge saw a similar year-over-year vault was in July 1991, while the highest level the measure has hit is 10.2 percent in February 1975, when the economy was gripped in a troubling upwards wage-price spiral fueled by rising inflation expectations on the part of consumers.

I removed the lacquer with a pressure washer.





Now I put the new clear coat/lacquer on.



I aint very good at this and it looks matte instead of glossy.. Among other issues.







Its cool though..
