3 Dead in Shooting at Michigan High School, Suspect in Custody



Authorities on Tuesday said that at least three people were shot and more injured at a Michigan high school, and the suspect is in custody.



The identity of the suspect and a motive haven't been disclosed. The suspected shooter was identified as a 15-year-old male who officials believe acted alone, according to the news release.



"There was no resistance during the arrest and the suspect has asked for a lawyer and has not made any statements as to a motive," the release continued.



Officers responded at around 12:55 p.m. to a flood of 911 calls about an active shooter at the school, Oakland County Undersheriff Mike McCabe said during a news conference. Authorities arrested the suspect at the school and recovered a semi-automatic handgun and several magazines.



"Deputies confronted him, he had the weapon on him, they took him into custody," McCabe said.



The three who were killed are believed to be students, while six others were shot, including a teacher, said the release. Their identities were not revealed.

Even if Russia does invade Ukraine and replace Volodymyr Zelensky with a pro Moscow puppet, NATO will not try and stop them with force.

Among those surveyed by Bendixen & Amandi International, a top Democratic firm that specializes in Latino outreach, only 2% said they refer to themselves as Latinx. Most respondents, 68%, call themselves "Hispanic," and 21% said they prefer to use "Latino" or "Latina" to describe their ethnic background.



40% of respondents said "Latinx" bothers or offends them, and 30% said they would be less likely to vote for someone that uses the term — including nearly a quarter of Democrats surveyed.
