My condo overlooks Lake Simcoe. In the summer lots of convertible classic cars show off near the boardwalk. This car would get noticed.

The Irish nationalist party Sinn Fein, which seeks unification with Ireland, hailed a "new era" Saturday for Northern Ireland as it captured the largest number of seats in the Northern Ireland Assembly for the first time in a historic win.



With almost all votes counted from Thursday's local U.K. election, Sinn Fein secured 27 of the Assembly's 90 seats. The Democratic Unionist Party, which has dominated Northern Ireland's legislature for two decades, captured 24 seats. The victory means Sinn Fein is entitled to the post of first minister in Belfast for the first time since Northern Ireland was founded as a Protestant-majority state in 1921.



The victory is a milestone for Sinn Fein, which has long been linked to the Irish Republican Army, a paramilitary group that used bombs and bullets to try to take Northern Ireland out of U.K. rule during decades of violence involving Irish republican militants, Protestant Loyalist paramilitaries and the U.K. army and police.

The city of St. Louis, Missouri hopes to grow its population by luring Afghan refugees to settle in the city so that it can offset its 70 years of population loss.



The Associated Press reported that there is an "aggressive effort" within the city to attract large swaths of the more than 76,000 Afghans who fled their country after its capital city of Kabul was ceded to the Taliban.

A massive great white shark has been recorded swimming off the coast of the Jersey Shore.



The shark has been named Ironbound, after the West Ironbound Island near Luneburg, Nova Scotia, where it was first spotted swimming, CNN reported.



Ironbound is said to be 12 feet, 4 inches long and is believed to weigh just under 1,000 pounds according to OCEARCH a nonprofit marine research group that provides open-source data about the migration pattern of sharks.
