Hell, Crowley probably remembers when it was made out of wood.

The Mississippi river!  I liked Mark Twain as a kid.  People talk about the Mississippi - I've always wanted to see it.  It's amazing.  It looks like the Fraser river - it's wide and muddy.  They said it was 200 feet deep at its deepest point.

We have a sugar factory in Vancouver so I shouldn't be impressed but they have a sugar factory there in New Orleans on the Mississippi - the air smelled like sweet sugar  :6:   So nice.

The old Missisip makes me think of the Doobie Brothers. Or maybe just doobies.

Yes.

At that time it was owned by Mdme Tussauds, and probably still is. So it had a lot of wax figures scattered around in period dress.

I gather its more "theme park" than static display now. Back then, it cost about 8 quid, and you could walk around anywhere.

I believe it now costs a family of 4 100 pounds to get in.

The French Polynesian islands of Papeete, Moorea, Huahine, Bora Bora, and the atolls in that region.

What is an atoll?

An atoll, sometimes called a coral atoll, is a ring-shaped coral reef including a coral rim that encircles a lagoon partially or completely.
