We are fine Fash, thank you. The thunder and lightning was worst I have seen. Dog was insane during the show. Had 13.5" of rain from 3am to about 5:30 or 6:00. Luckily my home is on a street that drains extremely fast. It may flood but hardly ever goes over the curb. I imagine we were at least up to the sidewalk today. Probably one of the worst rain storms, in terms of flooding, that we have ever had. (I do blame a lot of that on how much ground we have covered with concrete) Schools had to close as well as numerous businesses. Earlier there were 4 deaths reported but I do expect as the water finally recedes there will be more. Supposed to continue raining until Thursday. More on the way now. Shouldn't be as bad the rest of the week though. Flooding will continue since the ground is already soaked to the max. North and west Houston got it bad and the runoff will flood south Houston. Ain't we havin' fun
I've learned that if someone asks you a really stupid question and you reply by telling them what time it is, they'll leave you alone

I know how that feels. We lost everything in Galveston in 2008.

We had damage to our house, but my husband was able to repair everything..

I am so sorry about that.

I saw pictures of it on the news last night and it was really bad in some areas.

I thought so too, but maybe it was another year.
