Damn!  I don't think I'm closely related to anyone 'famous.'  Everyone that I can think of is just an average Joe.

Cant remember if its Davey Crocket or Daniel Boone, Im supposedly distantly related to one of 'em. Thats as famous as I can think. I know one of my family members held off Yankees as a Confederate in Buchanan. Kept 'em from crossing a bridge there. Its a historic home now. Another family member fought in the Revolutionary war. Another in WWII. I cant trace back past the one in the revolutionary war, but they are from Ireland, I think Scots Irish but not for certain.
