This past Saturday was the debut of our Shanty group to the public. It went really well. After our group, was the Celtic group, and at one point, we joined forces, and sang Roll the Old Chariot!!! Best song of the night, everyone whipping out their cameras, and even the owner came out and recorded us  ac_dance


Lol. I thought that new series The North Water with Colin Farrell had more sea shanties, but it seems this one is the only one they are using, well at least in the first season. I'm reading the book on kindle at the moment.

Did you load WhatsApp or do I need to hook up on Skype? I'm taking tomorrow off because the surf is up. Let me know when you want to get unruly. But I tell you what though...shanties aside...I've been getting into metal again. I'm a bit late on the take with this band, but better late than never. It's good for surfing huge surf alone...it's a rush that I can't quite explain. I guess I crave the danger and I need a decent soundtrack to loop in my mind. What do you think?

There's a group of us going hell for leather pushing the limits. Every time the waves max out the photographers come out...the drones with a metal soundtrack make us look like Gods!

According to a Fox News poll, over half of Virginia parents think parents should tell schools what to teach.



The outlet reported that when responding to the question, "Do you believe parents should – or should not – be telling schools what to teach?" 57% of Virginia parents indicated that parents should be doing so, while 34% indicated that parents should not be doing so.
