I wish I had a uniform of my own. That was a friend's I borrowed that day. That stuff costs money lol.



This month is Confederate Heritage and History Month.



Where my family is from that fought, there is a reenactment this month. I could've been in it, I was asked to. But no uniform.



Fun fact, Confederate Memorial Day was the original Memorial Day, held at the end of April. The Yankees liked it, stole the holiday and made it a National Holiday 3 years later I believe, in May... because the flowers didnt bloom until May up there.

I should bump my old thread... April is Confederate Heritage and History Month. There is a TON a lot of folks dont know. It brings understanding to things. And not HATE like how they are trying to push these days. Folks were literally fighting for survival down here.

There is less breast meat and the dark meat is darker, but they taste similar to my free range turkeys.
