What types of music do you like? Are you fairly open minded? You seem so.

I have eclectic tastes in music for a 55 year old. I like everything from classical to eighties British New Wave to punk, ska, and some Nu Metal. And sorry, I like show tunes. Call it a stereotype if you wish.


Us kids were raised on old school musical movies. We know all the lyrics and can sing along instinctively.



Our baby sister born in 89 wore out VHS tapes after a few years of all the classics... Seven Brides....Oklahoma....South Pacific... she'd rewind and replay them each day as many times as she'd get away with.... lulz

Its the Mecca of Old Time music! People from all around the world come to it.



Music being played 24/7, and thats no lie. The late nighters party and play until dawn, then the early birds get up and keep it going.



The Cajun tent draws about 200-300 folks to it. Some have CD release parties. There is competitions up top on the stage. I mean, you CANT get bored there! Lots of vendors and food vendors.



I fell in love with it first time a couple years ago. Then Covid made it cancel past 2 times. Its happening this year!  ac_dance  :35ivrxd:  :241:
I've come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

Lots of music festivals around here are coming back this year.



Clifftop is up in West Virginia, about 3 hours from me.

I remember how curious you were when I first started fiddlin', and after a short while, I played you a sample. I didnt consider myself a "fiddler" just yet, but I still shared with you.



Im an artist to a degree, depends what Im doing, but I doubt I could paint you a portrait lol.



I sing Sea Shanties. I didnt think I was good when I started them, but I still shared lol.



Do you think you're not that great? Why do you sing for your choir if you think you aint that great?

If somebody says they can't sing, you should take their word for it. I have had people sing that can't, but think they can and proceed to give a room full of people a headache.  :oeudC:
