A US-based Muslim preacher who allegedly advocated killing gay people is giving a lecture series in London after being allowed to enter the UK.



Mr Sodagar appeared in an online video recorded in 2010 in which he details ways in which gay people can be 'punished' for their sexuality, including being beheaded or thrown off a cliff. Footage shows him apparently telling an audience: "If there's homosexual men, the punishment is one of five things. One, the easiest one maybe, is cut their head off, that's the easiest. The second is, burn them to death. Third, throw them off a cliff. Fourth, tear down the wall on them so they die. Fifth, a combination of the above.

The UK is such a lost fucking cause, the occupant of number 10 is an apologist for the madness of sharia.

May sparked controversy when she spoke out in support of the Islamic courts operating in the country, telling the nation they could "benefit a great deal" from Sharia teachings.

that's good that you believe in that of course, but they aren't going to be.  They are going to be twisted into double standards and they are going to be twisted to fit the biases of the tribunal or judge. That has been their history (as I pointed out in the free speech thread).  Why would it change?



If the laws don't exist they can't be abused.

Wait wait...bear with me for one second here as my education background includes philosophy of constitutional and criminal law.



Why was hate speech law created in the first place?  What issue was this law addressing?



THAT needs to be understood before talking about repealing.  So I challenge you to find out what drove the law's creation in the first place.

I don't mean special privileges for one religion or ideology or whatever you choose to call it. I mean in general, accommodating cultural practices as long as they don't conflict with the host nations laws.
