Having said that, we did buy a 6 pack of solar powered ground vibrating snake deterrents the other day on heavily discounted terms. Not needed in high human traffic areas like around the house but handy when you go away for the weekend and your young children haven't fully absorbed the 'stop, wait, leave' rule for when the odd snake gets spooked and gets too close.
