I often wonder how much of that is due to them not being able to even speak a word of English, let alone read or write it, compounded with the fact that they're brand new to the country...



I've seen how people drive in China, so perhaps this is a whole new world to them.



This can be seen when they attempt to cross the road on foot.  They are extra-cautious (and rightfully so), as they assume cars WILL just run over them, like in China!

But, have you seen how they drive in Hong Kong. They obey the rules. Not to the degree they do in Japan, but still more than say Italy.

Yeah the US is really a model of the worst, most lax, immigration system in the world, outside of POSSIBLY some western european countries (UK, Sweden etc),.  But even then  debatable. We take in a million and half people every year, most are unskilled, half end up on some form of welfare.  Plus who knows how many illegals on top of that.



Trump is trying to fix it, but too many republicans don't care.  if something doesn't change for the better, we will become a leftist-totalitarian, third world country in the next decade or two.
