Have they become urban dwellers? We have raccoons in cities in Southern Ontario. In fact, you will see more raccoons in residential areas of Toronto than in forests.


They're everywhere here. Sometimes they get into roofs and rafters.

I understand it's good if cooked right....But that's true of most wild game.



I eat wild game at times but draw the line at things like opossum, bear, raccoon or groundhog.



Opossum is a carrion eater, so I won't touch that...Raccoon is too fatty as is groundhog and groundhog has a grassy taste that you cannot get rid of or cover up. Bear is just bad...I can't even describe the taste, it almost tastes rancid...I understand the taste can vary dramatically depending on what season it was harvested in but I really don't care..Trying it once was more than enough.

I don't eat red meat or pork any longer and I only eat small amounts of chicken and turkey...But purging meat out of my diet has nothing to do with ethics, privilege, or anything political. Bill Gates is an arogant turd..Take him out of his little circle of technogeeks and privilged, elitist,  liberal, shit bags and he hasn't got enough brains to fill a shot glass.
