Frood

I've camped a few times on the Victorian border side... similar coastline. Very pretty.
Blahhhhhh...

Bricktop

True, it is similar to the south western coast of Victoria.

Perhaps not quite as grand.

Don't mind me, just enjoying the scenery here while I mop the floor afterwards.  ac_cool  ac_drinks

Beautiful photos Bricktop......where were they taken?

These are on the south coast of South Australia...the very bottom of the continent (but not the southernmost coastline...that is in Tasmania).

It's a turbulent coastline on windy days and there are a number of shipwrecks near that coast. We were fortunate to find it in a good mood. The last time we were there it was in July some years ago and access to the shoreline was dangerous and impossible.

Last week butter wouldn't melt in its mouth, thank goodness.

I'm trying my hand at landscape photography for something different. Just learning at the moment.

It looks so calm, I can't imagine it getting turbulent.

You're cleaning house?

While enjoying the landscape sceneries, I accidently drooled on the floor.   ac_cool

It lines the Southern Ocean, which can get quite unfriendly in the winter months.

It's very beautiful.

As the remains of the jetty indicate, looks can be deceiving.

Yes, I'm sure..

It reminds me of a hike we did on the West Coast of Vancouver Island.

Bricktop

That area is part of a hiking trail called The Heysen Trail.

You should come and do it.

"The Heysen Trail is a long distance walking trail in South Australia. It runs from Parachilna Gorge, in the Flinders Ranges via the Adelaide Hills to Cape Jervis on the Fleurieu Peninsula and is approximately 1,200 kilometres (750 mi) in length.[1]"

Yes, when we win the lottery, we'll do that..

That will be a problem of course since we don't gamble.

Bricktop

You'll also need about three pairs of hiking boots...thats about the average wear for those that have walked the Heysen Trail.

I'm sure it's a terrific hike.
