The river's bend

Great place to swim, used to be, need to get it clean, but there's so much life in those branches it's a shame to pull them from there

A couple trees feel after that last rains and all the leaves that got caught there made great house for the fish

Older pic, my stepson walking barefoot over the coffee, he wanted to see how it felt

The shepherd, Durango, died from a snake bite, few years ago. Great dog that was

The purple flowered trees are called quaresmeiras (something like Lenters)

Because they flower during Lent here.

So, it's salt water. How much land do you have? I have just under a third of a section now. That is two hundred and ten acres.

This bridge crosses that river, also older pic. You can see in the end of the straight road, the old house that was in the property. The new purple house was built to the left of that road, closer to the river.

Nothing better than sleeping at night with the noise of the water hitting the small rapids. I ABSOLUTELY no roosters around LOL

The bridge today is a lot stronger, couldn't have the trucks crossing it loaded with coffee

No, that's freshwater, that river comes from a huuuuuuge bog-like area a few miles up that valley. It almost never dries, I have seen it happen only once in 2015, terrible drought that year

We use hectares here and converting in your acres, it's roughly 25

Not a lot of land and it's mostly hills, but the weather is what matters most

Even during droughts, there's a lot of mildew at that valley and it's colder than the rest of the region too

I got a good deal for it 10 years ago, but now, it's considered prime land
There\'s always a bigger fish.
