Australian Birds

They get very violent in cages.



They do not belong in cages.

They're very playful birds..



Before I buy a parrot,  I'll read as much information about them as I can find.

Beaks on parrots, cockies, galahs grow like finger nails and need to be worn down.



They need to swallow sand as well. Sand helps food grind up in their crops.



Birds need to get wet every other day so they can groom themselves. Spay them from a bottle or take them into the shower with you.



They need green food like swiss chard every day.



They like a piece of apple or carrot as well.

The males turn blue at mating season.. I've seen two close enough to capture but they got away from me.
