Wednesday was the first time I've been to Jarrahdale in over 4 months. I had no pain when I came home.



It was so good going for a long drive finally I been rejuvenated.



I'm looking forward to our winter. I'm going walk-about in our winter. Roll on 22 c days that are endless.

It's not so easy catching wild fauna though.



With open dumps we call 'tips' I wouldn't eat any birds.

....in a pinch I'd eat anything as long as it wasn't likely to kill me...



...however, Australian birds can live to be 50 or more years old... that's a lot of tough meat and parasites to bother with... you'd have to slow cook or pressure cook them to get a smidge of tenderness and annihilate the nasties... at the very minimum, overcook them in a rotisserie on an open fire...



...same goes with some reptiles or fish here... Murray Cod can live to be 100 years old... and Goanas live quite long, like this guy a few days ago... full of nasties...

That guy was funny... there were three of them roaming around our camp but it was the biggest and didn't give a stuff about walking under our chairs and annex...



...threw him a bit of bacon far away from the perimeter and he was happy...didn't bother us too much... "Camo" was the name my daughter gave to him... I suggested Rambo because he had a death wish...but noooooo...it had to be Camo. She named the smaller two Jack and Cleo...  ac_toofunny

I looked up goannas, the largest one can be two and a half metres long.

Lizards look like they move slowly, but I was surprised they can move fast.
