Considering how few bulldozers raze bushland these days, Cockies do a whole lot MORE damage.

Ironically, it is the vast and unimpeded clearance of land in Australia's infancy that has contributed to the increased cockatoo population. Open areas suit their feeding demands better than forested land.

but the 20% left of virgin forest has higher concentration of wildlife and that's another pressure.



I have no sympathy for squawkers like Freud who grew up in a country where they used poor birds for target practice.







I hope pigeons park and shit on his roof....





If you don't like our wildlife, go live in an apartment in the CBD... and rack off is my motto.

I think that's a corella, isn't it? Pink plumage.



But it is a form of cockatoo to be accurate.

Last late afternoon, I filmed myself feeding two parent magpies and their squawking demanding fledgling eating a cheese burger....lol And I was playing it this morning on my PC...lol, And our adopted stray, Schwarzie, jumped up and was attently watching the whole thing and meowing. Funny stuff.
