Those that disagree with his politics stoop to vandalism.
Yes.  I suppose its better than beating people and threatening people. Which is what the usually do

BTW the story gets better--The vandal who did it as charged with felony vandalism--said get this--that  Robert Di Nero called and gave the vandal a message that  he wanted to give him a "high five" about which the vandal said "I think I did a real good act, I feel proud of myself."

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/fight-erupts-donald-trumps-walk-fame-star-days-vandalized-163046117.html">https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/fig ... 46117.html">https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/fight-erupts-donald-trumps-walk-fame-star-days-vandalized-163046117.html

Maybe De Niro's star will be vandalized.
Most on the left  say that hating trump justifies violent destructive behavior, some others take a different tack, they downplay it and says its just the acts of a few.  But its not, this is all being spurred on by the media, prog celebutards, democrat politicians and other leftist VIPs.  Nearly the entire left from leadership on down to rank and file has become fully fascist and extreme.

America seems to be staring down the barrel of a gun at this time in its history.

yes a left wing extremist totalitarian gun.  You are too, it just hasn't gotten as bad for Australia https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/660/cpsprodpb/AB72/production/_102709834_hi046627082.jpg">https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/660/cpspr ... 627082.jpg">https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/660/cpsprodpb/AB72/production/_102709834_hi046627082.jpg[/img]

It's an interesting point.

Is Australia heading the same way?

There are similarities...but there are wide differences as well. Such as;

Australia is not burdened by an alien culture to the same magnitude as America with the massive Mexican wave folding over it. Similarly, Australia does not have the same racial issues with blacks. The Australian aboriginal population is small, and disorganised.

Australia does not have a massive gun problem...and this is key to any potential internecine conflict.

Australia does not have the same proportion of leftist elites as the US. Australian entertainers are not granted the same status as their US counterparts, and they have no influence.

Australia does not have the same propensity to violence as the US.

Australia suffers less political corruption.

Australia is a far more egalitarian society.

Australia's military is comparatively small and less likely to support an armed conflict.

That does not mean it can't happen here. It can. And if the US leads the way, the chances of civil uprising will increase. However, the US or UK are far more likely, and for the same reasons, to collapse into chaos and crisis.

Regardless, the chances of armed conflict in Western democracies grow daily.

Canada, Australia, and New Zealand all have problems with indigenous issues..

The USA, not quite as much.

Bricktop

Yes, but on a proportionally much smaller scale than the US.

Our aborigines are small in number, and very few have elevated themselves into positions of influence. The same applies to New Zealand. The maoris are a small percentage of the total population...although some have achieved very senior government positions.

Well peaches many here have said you back democrat and left wing thug tactics.  You have implied a few times that you have been misrepresented.  here is your chance to be clear.

Do you endorse felonious destruction of private property as a means to a political ends?

First, let's be clear about whose PUBLIC property has been vandalized.
Quote from: "Wikipedia"The Hollywood Walk of Fame comprises more than 2,600[1] five-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, California. The stars are permanent public monuments to achievement in the entertainment industry, bearing the names of a mix of actors, musicians, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, fictional characters, and others. The Walk of Fame is administered by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and maintained by the self-financing Hollywood Historic Trust. It is a popular tourist destination, with a reported 10 million visitors in 2003

Did I read that right?  More than 2600 stars?

Yeah, it's definitely PUBLIC property, not private.  And it's in HOLLYWOOD, which I'd bet you've never spoken of previously as anything more moral than BABYLON....which is a thing that righties and lefities mostly agree.  WTF does one monument among thousands really amount to?  Most tourists wouldn't recognize more than a hundred or so of the names.

Second, my image is clearly a chop, intended as satire.

Third, this is a monument to "entertainers" who according to your bible Daily Caller are all worthless "progtards" so the inclusion of Trump who is arguably a failure as an entertainer and certainly no progtard was a hideous mistake in the first place, only made possible by dirty entertainment money.

Yet, all the righties are drenching the Walk of Shame in crocodile tears.

Nuance, man.   Get some.

okay, not private property, check, moral babylon, check, one of many stars, check, image is a chop, check.'

Still no clear answer to the question though.

I don't know what the nuance is.  If someone asked me if my disliking a politician justified felony vandalism Id say no. Its not that difficult.

Fair enough.  I might condone misdemeanor vandalism in some cases, but felony vandalism is not something I approve of.  I've had lots of practice around here observing this distinction because there's a national forest and a lot of logging contracts, and some tree hugger protests involving chains and padlocks but not extending to setting shit on fire or pouring sugar in fuel tanks.

On the other hand, even felony vandalism doesn't rise to the levels of "violence" the state will bring to bear on people exercising their constitutional rights to protest...but that is for another conversation.

Aryan

The American political left are probably the worst in the world, those ANTIFA belong in cages like the feral animals they are.

In this country, we have no "constitutional right" to damage private or public property, punch people in the face for having a different opinion or harassing off duty peace officers.

That's nice, but I thought we were talking about people in southern California which for better or worse is not part of your country.
