How Many Non-Trump Supporters Said They Would Consider Divorce, Hypothetically

So they asked those who don't support Trump (and whose partner's don't) how they would feel if they were married to someone who voted for Trump. 33 percent of respondents — and 43 percent of Millennials— said they would consider divorce. I can totally see why.

It's not race, income or gender that divides Americans. That is all a smokescreen. It's political affiliation.

Bricktop

More accurately, political ideology, that is utterly fabricated and baseless.

We have governed ourselves into a social cul-de-sac under the premise of a perversion of democracy. Those that profit most from a divided society have been extolling these false virtues for decades, and we've swallowed their glowing commendations like goldfish at feeding time.

I am that I am from out of nowhere

to fight without a cause

Roots strain against the grain

With brute force

you'd better hold out

when you're in doubt

Question what you see

And when you find an answer

Bring it home to me.

From what Wazzzup has been saying that is in fact behind the polarization of the USA..

That's what our grandparents called us when we grew our hair and wore vibrant clothing as a form of social rebellion.

Millenials will one day form government. And there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

There doesn't appear to be as much diversity of opinion as there should be among millennials.

Does that surprise you. They become outcasts in a real hurry if they don't drink the Kool Aid.

And I wonder if it affects their grades or even enrollment at institutions of higher learning if they dare swim against the tide.

But, political affiliation is identified with race. Blacks, hispanics and high income progs vote Democrat, business owners vote Repub and the white working class votes for Trump.

Glad to. thanks fash. Please excuse my lateness on this. I wanted to think about it before giving my 2 cents.

I think SB is right it IS largely political.  But race and gender are so intertwined with politics, so its often difficult, if not impossible to separate them.

Take the Kavanaugh hearings.  they're political certainly, but also about gender.

Its all kind of mixed together.

I was unaware of the pervasive white shaming and blaming across the USA.

Unfortunately, even with taking some time to think about it, I am still struggling with the ability to explain my views on the OP adequately.

But I am very happy that I could help you see what I was saying Re white shaming.  all I ask is the freedom to say what I think, and then post evidence to support it, and hope people see things my way, or at least just listen and think about it even if they don't.  When it actually works and helps someone, especially someone of your high intelligence and common sense,  get what I'm trying to say, then that makes it all worth it.
