I  watched this one..

Very interesting, but I think she's speaking  from a Western perspective..

Taiwanese and Chinese women have been working outside the home for a longer time than Western women.

Women have always worked throughout history. They just weren't paid for it.

hunting and gathering... its work.

Upper class westerners did charity work....or sewed all day.

No one sat around doing nothing... that is portrayed in movies and movies are fictional stories.

You mean contributing to a household. Children, the mom, grandparents living under one roof all pulled together. They had to in order to survive.

LOL! Yeah that is kinda funny.

& the reporter said she was given a badge for that?

So what happens if she's in combat?

Will an enemy show her mercy if she falls down like that?

That's Pathetic.

If she was really supposed to get a medal, here's how mshe should've been treated- like a soldier:

Firstly, that is NO 70lb backpack. Probably closer to 20.

Secondly, 12 miles is not a great stretch for a backpack march. 3 hrs means you'd have to keep pushing, but 4 miles an hour with full kit is strenuous, but no marathon.

Thirdly, as the narrator says, 46 others crossed the line, and if you watched closely, as Odinson did, one man just ahead of her was just strolling.

A meritorious effort, to be sure, but hardly a superhuman performance. Once again, the media turns a fairly mundane performance into a triumph to show how women are "equal".

I call bullshit. Job well done, and that's all it was.

From the waist down men and women have equal physical strength... it's only the upper body where men are stronger...

and there is no difference in firing a gun with regards to accuracy... put it this way, I'm a crack shot and I bet I could shoot any of you before you shot me...

yes, I'm that good and that quick!~.
