According to FNC, 40% of American women between 18 and 54 years of age want a socialist government in the US...not as represented by the Democratic party but MUCH further left. Free health care, free education and a centrally controlled economy.

They want an end to capitalism.

That is a frightening statistic if you live in America.

EU is already there. Canada is there. Oz I believe has been labor mainly and quite socialist .. albeit a brief reprieve

If anything, the US will be the last to go ... but I do fear it ultimately will go

The USA really needs a lot more socislism BT.

American Women only want what Australian & Canadian women are already getting.

Universal healthcare maternity leave better support for their kids more social housing eh.

And ya gotta wonder, if Australia can provide all of the above, do its share in the war on terrorism & still balance its budget, how come America can’t? Theyre at least fuckin 21 trillion in debt adding at least 1 trillion a year to it. USA adds more debt per year than Australia’s ir Canada’s National debts since those countries were foubded.

America is on the verge of declaring bankruptcy while ‘Socialist’ Australia maintains a triple AAA credit rating. Australia has a budgetary surplus. Like what the fuck is wrong with the people who run the United States?

I don’t think much of America’s free enterprise system when ‘socialist’ countries lije Australia do a much better job by spending a lot less but getting 10 times more bang for their buck.

Seems ta me the ‘socialist’ model is outperforming the capitalist obe

We knew the old incel would use this thread to derail it with something he knows nothing about.

I had better health care in the US than I do here. It covered everything, no waiting, and no rationing. I had better health care in Libya than we do here for Christ sakes. Old Joe is on a DHS watch, so he cannot get into the US. He doesn't have the skills or ambition anyway. He doesn't know what he is talking about.

Hey Herm that musta been before you got i to trouble with the law in Canada, eh?

Cuz you can’t enter the USA with a violent assault charge nor ever receive a pardon which is acceptable to the authorities there eh?

They might accept someone with a petty charge but not a violent one.

If you went to the USA now you’d be stopped at the border and detained by homeland security at an ins detention center.

I used ta live in the USA too.

Was there for 5 years.

Lived and worked there.

And I had to apply for residence there and stay clean when I was there, eh?

I met with American immigration lawyers and authorities so I knew what the laws were.

US immigration is pretty strict about who they let in.

Your criminal record shows up in their computers, eh Herm?

But hey ifya need something from the gas station let me know and I’ll get it next time Im there rh Herm?

Joe reads what he wants to read which is personal details of people's lives. I'm sure he has it recorded in a journal. A really weird guy.

That was final derail of this thread.

What's not widely known is that the US has the world's second largest social welfare system. Only France spends more of GDP (as a percentage of that GDP) on social welfare than America does.

That is a somewhat spurious article.

If America invests so much in social welfare, where is it going? What is it spending on, and why? Why are their entire suburbs of "homeless" people living in boxes and tents? Why is health care beyond the reach of some?

This quote undermines the headline handsomely.

"On the basis that state health care, state healthcare insurance and private health care insurance are all "poolings of risk". They are thus communal social welfare spending and we can indeed group them this way if we wish
. Put this way, the US spends some 30 per cent of all GDP on such social welfare: which puts it well up the listings."

I found ythis a while back, this thread seems a good fit--shows abit about race and gender in AMerica, I wish there were simlar ones for other countries

Image

the racial divide is far larger, but there is a gender divide as well.

Women are more likely to be progtards. But of course we know there are many exceptions like the lovely and smart ladies of TBC. ac_wub

Feminism is indistinguishable from socialism.

I hope women realise that "feminism" is no longer about women, but about eradicating capitalism through social division and confrontation.

It seems, however, that many women are lured to "feminism" blind to the reality that they are being manipulated by a political, not social, imperative.

Gee, Joe...it only took you a day to figure out the musical reference.

And in case you're wondering...I saw Guess Who live in 1971, and they played American Woman.

Your stupidity never ceases to amaze.

There is a lot of poverty in France too..

Perhaps money spent doesn't determine the best outcomes.

The worst cities in America are the ones with the most social programs.

Homeless people are mostly mentally ill and or drug addicts/alcoholics, spending isn't going to help them much.

all poor people in the US can get free health care.
