Not every story is worthy of an entire thread....

Washington state senator Maureen Walsh (R) pissed off the nurses. She better hope she doesn't wind up in a hospital...LOL
Quote:
"By putting these types of mandates on a critical access hospital that literally serves a handful of individuals, I would submit to you those nurses probably do get breaks. They probably play cards for a considerable amount of the day," Washington state Senator Maureen Walsh said on Tuesday during a debate on the Washington state Senate floor.

Your hospitals must be different to ours of that's her view of nursing.

During my recent sojourn, the poor nurses were on the go 24/7.

Pretty much the same way it is here. The nurses were looking to have an uninterrupted meal and rest break. When they work such long hours breaks are necessary. Don't want to hear one say OOPS....LOL Just a blowhard politician thinking she knows what the real world is like.

In Canada, less than half of a nurse's time on the job is spent with patients.

Excellent video. Fantastic points.

You would all be appalled and disgusted with the shameless hypocrisy of the left if you took the time to read what Virginia's law actually said before and what they are now attempting to change it to.

These bills are a license to kill societies must vulnerable people.

Wonder how the Dim's will spin the cruelty of ICE on this one....LOL
Quote:
HOUSTON — Fifty people are now in law enforcement custody following last week’s return of a 206-count indictment criminally charging 96 people for their alleged roles in a large-scale marriage fraud scheme.

This case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Houston, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Houston.

A federal grand jury returned the massive indictment April 30, 2019. The indictment remains sealed for those charged but not yet in law enforcement custody.

There's lots of that in Canada.

The former government of Alberta presided over six credit downgrades as they maxed out the credit cards to the tune of $61 billion. The new government will take a cautious approach and hold the line on spending rather than make cuts as governments did in the 90's.

kiebers, this hyper surveillance of US citizens is beginning to take its toll. Americans are becoming paranoid because they think their government is always spying on them.

Ive met White law abiding Americans in Canada who ask me if I want to see their passport . You know what I tell them? I tell them “No Sir/m’am relax. This is Canada. We don’t do that here.” And immediately they smile & relax.

Im in no position of authority to ask for an American citizen’s passport and frankly I don’t want to see them anyways. When people become afraid to relax and be themselves the society starts becoming a police state, K. The social atmosphere in America is too tense. Its taking its toll on Americans.

If you had ever bothered to get out of your Hyundai "limousine" (with a famous rock star in the back of course) and travelled the world, you would observe that carrying a passport just about anywhere is essential.

You cannot enter the casino in Singapore without a passport...which you must also present on departure.

Even in the UK, many services ask for your passport, as do ALL hotels. Hire car companies need to see a passport before giving you a car. I am asked to present a passport in my HOMELAND, Joe. You are searched when entering tourist areas. In the land I was BORN in and am a citizen of.

Try crossing a border in Europe without your passport.

In SE Asia you are fingerprinted on entering and leaving the country in many nations.

Diligence is YOUR safeguard against terrorism.

This is 2019...and the world isn't that sweet, rosy and innocent realm of the last century.

Old Joe has never been anywhere, never been laid, and never contributed anything to discussions.
