The FareBox Attendant posting is most likely evenings/nights, maybe 3 nights a week X 4 hours a night or similar to start... At any or all of the 7 depots in the region...

The FareBox RECEIPTS Attendant posting might be days sorting all of the collected money... I'm pretty sure that would be out of Burnaby depot...

That would be a near perfect part time job Superchecker.

Maybe, but so is any job that involves the public, including Superchecker's job.

My ex applied for this position when she was still with me. Drove her out to the interview test in Surrey, but she didn't get the job...

I honestly don't know, but that could very well have been the reason. Of course they won't tell you that!

Maybe the cost of living there is much cheaper.

$23/hour is considered a 'decent' wage here, but in Vancouver that's fuck all. Half of your paycheck would go to rent instantly.

Then bills and taxes and child support...not much left over....

NOTHING left over. My ex found that out when she 'went solo' on me with her $21/hour job. She had to delay simple shit like an oil change on her car because she didn't have the $60 or whatever.

I think many people live like this.
