All of which can be obtained at the butcher. Probably at a lower cost, more convenient, and less harmful to the environment.

How is buying farm raised livestock better for the environment than shooting a bambi.

Because you're not trawling through the bush in a massive 4x4 looking for things to kill.

I used an ATV with a winch. But, raising livestock has a bigger land footprint than hunting.

No industry uses more land and causes more pollution than agriculture.

Whlatever you do, there's no way ranching has a smaller environmental footprint than hunting.

Not just meat either..

Mass agriculture has a massive environmental impact..

With a steady increase in the earth's population, science will have to figure out how to produce more food on less land.

Plant based proteins are heavily processed....better to eat chicken breast.

No-one here is telling you how bad eating meat is.

And the issue is not about hunting.

It's about the proliferation of high powered, military style firearms in private hands, and the overall dispersion of millions of firearms in a society that cannot control itself.

I believe you just proved my case, "society that cannot control itself", not "guns that cannot control itself". A gun is a tool, and dont hop off the shelf killing people. AKA a gun can be controlled until it is in the hands of a problem person that cannot control oneself.

And what if that "problem person" (it would be interesting if you could define a "problem person") had no guns.

What do they do then?

Run people down with vehicles, slice up folks with swords or knives, possibilities are endless. Its the law abiding citizen that will be at the disadvantage.

Problem folks, are the kind of folks that you like to make dozens of threads about

But none of them are killing innocent people, are they????

OK. I get it. So what you're saying is that there's no such thing as bad weapons, only bad people.

So, I have a question.

If weapons are not inherently bad, why does your Government try so hard to stop countries like Iran and NK from getting nukes? After all, there's nothing wrong with nukes, right?

Brick, the aliens do not want us to have nuclear weapons! I dont think even our own government should have them, no one should. They harm more innocent people than anything in war. Besides, we live in fishbowl, and I dont wish radiation sickness on anyone.

Ever hear about how our government fired a nuke at the atmosphere back in the 50's, just before all nations agreed that no one should go to Antarctica? Its called Operation Fishbowl, and was a real thing. This and a few other significant things make me lean towards the Flat Earth theory. Doesnt mean I BELIEVE it is flat, but does make one wonder, especially with the tricksy Elite. And I dont trust them for shit.
