Thank you to the Municipalities Minister for speaking out against such greed and incompetence..

How are families like mine suppose to survive when we keep having our hard earned resources confiscated.

A jaw-dropping 7.51% property tax hike on the typical single family home.

Double-digit tax increases for many businesses. Taxes for strip mall retail up 14%. For retail in a neighbourhood shopping centre, it’s 18%.

Nuts.

Thank you Seoul..

I have a daughter in university, but instead of spending on her education we have to use that money to pay for Trudeau and Nenshi's continuous tax increases.

Even criminals deserve more respect than the politicians that approve and "legalized" stealing from the public. At least most gangs pay for their crimes, while politicians get away with it.

I don't think that will ever happen in Calgary.

Will Calgarians boot them out in the next municipal election? Tax raising big spenders control most municipal governments in Canada.

Probably not..

Mayor Nenshi and like minded councilors usually win..

Voter turnout is low in municipal elections.

Calgary City Hall staff have been giving themselves $10-$15k bonus cheques upon retirement... For 40 years!

Council never approved this.

But when the vote came to cancel it, Nenshi voted to keep it.

This has cost the City $3-5 million per YEAR!
