I'm a fresh fruits and veggies kinda girl.  I buy small amounts every 2-3 days.  Just what I need.  I dont buy huge quantities and I dont have a deep freeze.



I noticed some people I know have their deep freezes so full, they have clue what's on the bottom...gross.

My wife and I bring cloth bags to the store and put the groceries in them.

I make meals in large quantities and freeze the leftovers..



We also buy in bulk from Costco on occasion and freeze that too..

I reuse plastic shopping  bags..



But, sometimes I forget to bring them and I buy more(unless I go to Safeway where they are still free).



I may buy some in the future, but I'll have to get into the habit of remembering  to have them with me when I go shopping.

 We just leave our bags in the back of the car.   That way they are there whenever we go shopping.  Its a system that works well provided you don't mind a little clutter.

I should get reusable bags also...  My store charges me $0.10/bag, and although I do reuse a few of them, most I just throw away, which is a waste.

I use them for trash, so they are never wasted.
