I would rather watch a turtles menage a trois than any of these banal, formulaic, laugh-track laden snooze fests.



I've never seen an episode of "Friends", "3 men", or any of these execrable "sit-coms".



However, based on the shows I do watch, the mass media have joined the leftist cabals in using not only news, but fictitious stories to push a political agenda. The BBC has turned many of it's marquee characters such as "Dr Who" into leftist propaganda dispensers.



As a consequence, people are turning away in their millions.

Yup, I turned off my cable box 6 years ago. I do have Netflix, but I dont usually watch episodes, maybe a handful of shows, mostly I watch movies. And I watch them with an open eye and an open mind. I wont watch something that I know is purposely trying to change my view on something. Though sometimes I do give in lol, others I outright resist.

I have less issue with entertainment that is clearly and openly pushing a political wheelbarrow. Some recent movies celebrate gay couples, others highlight the problems of a capitalist society. That's fine, because I have a choice and an off switch.



What I despise is the subversive nature of some shows that are purportedly about nothing related to socio-politics, yet seed their scripts and plots with political bias and propaganda.



That pisses me off immensely.



The new series of Dr Who is a case in point. Long time fans are fulminating at the inclusion of political influence such as feminism and "diversity" and the audience has dropped significantly.
