However, based on the shows I do watch, the mass media have joined the leftist cabals in using not only news, but fictitious stories to push a political agenda. The BBC has turned many of it's marquee characters such as "Dr Who" into leftist propaganda dispensers.

As a consequence, people are turning away in their millions.

Yup, I turned off my cable box 6 years ago. I do have Netflix, but I dont usually watch episodes, maybe a handful of shows, mostly I watch movies. And I watch them with an open eye and an open mind. I wont watch something that I know is purposely trying to change my view on something. Though sometimes I do give in lol, others I outright resist.

I have less issue with entertainment that is clearly and openly pushing a political wheelbarrow. Some recent movies celebrate gay couples, others highlight the problems of a capitalist society. That's fine, because I have a choice and an off switch.

What I despise is the subversive nature of some shows that are purportedly about nothing related to socio-politics, yet seed their scripts and plots with political bias and propaganda.

That pisses me off immensely.

The new series of Dr Who is a case in point. Long time fans are fulminating at the inclusion of political influence such as feminism and "diversity" and the audience has dropped significantly.

I'm seeing phony "deliberate" over-diversity in most every show now ... from gay to intermarriage to islamic FBI agent etc. etc. being almost a majority and stuck in your face intentionally ... FAR out of proportion to reality

Also, the many previous shows based on islamic terror acts / plots are now ZERO in number - It's KKK, nazi, alt-right ... Just saw a couple where it appeared islamic .. even cops jumped on it as such only to find it was nazis trying to make it islamic .. a lame deliberate message for us all to not jump to conclusions and that even thinking bad about islamic is bad

Homeland a total 180 overnight with star from taking out bad jihadis with drones in Afghan / Pakistan to dedicating her life to helping islamics settle in New York
