I am going home tomorrow. I have five days off. Then it's back to North West Alberta until spring break up.

Canada is not a Christian country, but I hope you enjoy your days off Gaon.

All I know is that I would not be getting these days off if I was still in Israel.

I realize Christmas doesn't mean much to you, but do you have anything special planned for your days off?

Does your wife have the same days off?

@realAzhyaAryola

I will argue with that, Fash. Canada is a Christian country.

"In Canada, the principal religion is Christianity." This article also supports my claim: https://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/religion">https://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/ ... e/religion">https://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/religion

What might be true is that there are becoming more non-Christians in Canada who are imposing their beliefs and practices onto the Canadian way of life, and the government allows this. However, to me, Canada is a Christian country.

No, she doesn't. She volunteered to work Christmas day. She will get 250% of her wages.

We were invited to a Christmas party tomorrow night. We will go, but we won't stay long.

In many provinces, Catholic and Protestant schools have special school boards.

Christian celebrations are official holidays..

But, in the modern day to day governance of the country there are no positions set aside for Christians ..

Our constitution is a secular..

It's now considered something of a scandal if religious belief is used as an explicit basis for decision making in parliament.

@realAzhyaAryola

Well, I'm against that shit. Unless I see towel heads all over the place and people riding in camels, I consider this country a damn Christian country.

Everywhere I go this month, I say "MERRY CHRISTMAS" to all without a flinch and I don't care if anyone is offended.

I did not say that you can't. Wear it by all means. It does not bother me.

No. It's YOUR problem. Because Canada is not a Christian country.
