What kind of fish is that in the first picture Dinky?

It's a small Murray Cod.



They can grow to over 100 kg in the right conditions and outlive a human being. They're especially tasty.



I didn't get any keeper sizes this trip. Just lots of juveniles that had to be thrown back.

I've heard of the Murray River....I thought it was a salt water river.
