Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Invest in realestate.

It would've been a good idea twenty years ago when houses here were undervalued..

My husband can do all renos on fixer uppers too.

Yeah but I was thinking more like buy a couple of cheapies for your kids...

The Italians where I live were clever 30 years ago investing in real estatefor their kids... But it's not going to get better.

There'll probably be a worldwide real estate crash one day followed by plumetting real estate values.

It has to....because the economic fundamentals are not sound given unsustainable debt levels being built up.

So unless you're Donald Trump with the Mafia to bail you out I wouldn't be too invested in Real Estate.

And those Italians where you live are likely subsidized by their local Mafia.

Your kids have to grow up and pay rent anyway...

I pay nothing because my mortgage wass paid off over 10 years ago but the family across the road renting off the government have to pay $500 a week rent....who is better off? Me who took up a mortgage in the 80s or the fools across the road who didn't commit at the same time I did when they could have?

And like Bricktop, I have a designer home too, one of a kind.

If you want to fail at life, follow old Joe's advice.

caskur

You get a mortgage and pay it off quicker... you pay more and more often...

Instead of us paying a mortgage over 25 years, we did it in 10... twice.

If you pay fortnightly like I did, you get 13 months, not 12 months... Doing it the way I did, I saved $160,000 TWICE paying my places off 15 years earlier... and it didn't hurt one bit.

About 25 years ago I saw Trump on Oprah where he was asked about money. EVERYTHING he said to do, I was already doing.

He doesnt interest me as much as other nazis.

He really knew what it was all about...

And the modern media is using the same tactics.

The housing market in most of Canada has softened.

None of those beyond the black stump, eh, Aaron?

If a house in the bush increases in value $10 over 20 years, it's a big win, right?

Be happy you're not caught up in the housing bubbles.

If that happens here in Vancouver, it will lead to chaos.

That would not surprise anyone in this city.
