Bricktop

One of our local councils has implemented a program of engaging world class street artists to paint buildings in the old port area of Adelaide. Like all port areas, it consists of many old buildings and warehouses that are no longer utilised. It belongs to a bygone era before container ships and air freight became dominant.



Here's some of the artworks from that district.



I know that this is also done in Vancouver, so if anyone has examples, post them!!!

We have plenty of street art where I come from.



Street art actually discourages tagging. I had a thread at Third Rail Forum with examples but I'd have to scrounge through external harddrives to find them..

We have some street art in Calgary, but more random graffiti..



I live close to CP Keith yard..



Some of the art work on rail cars is amazing.
