I take your point   ac_biggrin   but that's hardly my problem with the "survey."  And since you ask I'll tell you and let you sort out how sexy I might or might not be.   :JC_howdy:



About 3/8 German (southern) ... half or more UK (English & Welsh) ... and about ten percent is mongrelized or of uncertain pedigree.  



To wit, since it's interesting at least to me:

~ ~ one of my G-G grandparents is unknown since he perished in the Civil War without having

       tied the knot.

~ ~ my surname thus comes through that G G grandmother, whose father evidently was a free

       man of color or perhaps a mulatto.

~ ~ in another branch, a German married a woman around 1855 who probably had dark skin.  I still

       have her snuff box.  

~ ~ in two other branches, there are ancestors born in the 1820 - 1850 era who were part Native

       (Shawnee and Fox.)  



Evidently they were all pretty sexy forbears, since their families tended to be rather large.



Also, I've documented but not applied for admission to the following (my grandchildren will have that option if they wish.)
