John Robson wrote this op-ed in the National Post on the non existent Conservative Party of Anderw Scheer.





Max Bernier may be an imperfect human being and a flawed politician. It happens. But whatever his blemishes, his party exists because the Tories abandoned their beliefs and their base long before 2017 on every important conservative issue from free markets to traditional social values to strong national defence.



As Chris Selley wrote, it's amazing how many people bogeyman Doug Ford has offended with his cuts while increasing spending.



So if everyone is against a real conservative platform including the Conservatives, why can't anyone stop talking about it? Because they all know in their hearts that government is overextended, doing too much in too many areas very badly at insupportable cost.

yeah, unfortunately it is looking like a minority, so lets make sure we give them a minority so dysfunctional that it needs all of the parties to outvote the winning party, but lets hope for a surprise CPC majority.

Brad wall yeah a for sure, but rona......I always found her a bit flakey.



An active politician that would've rocked it as leader is Pierre Poilievre. He's a well spoken and intelligent guy that stumps the liberals in the house of commons. Lets just hope he throws his hat in the ring after scheer steps down.
