This has Iran's finger prints all over it.  That country launched an unannounced large military exercise near the Turkish border on Wednesday, soon after Ankara invaded Syria to confront a mostly Kurdish group,

I aint buying the reason that Erogan islookingfor a place to resettle Syrians in Turkey.



ISTANBUL — Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Thursday Turkey would eliminate the threat from Islamic State militants in northeast Syria following its campaign to oust Kurdish fighters from the region.



This came as international concern mounted over the fate of thousands of Islamist militants held in areas affected by the fighting. "We will do whatever needs to be done" to prevent an Islamic State resurgence, Erdogan said in a speech in the Turkish capital, Ankara, just one day after announcing the start of a punishing offensive against Kurdish-led militias on the border.



Turkey says it aims to create a "safe zone" in northeast Syria, where millions of Syrian refugees living in Turkey could potentially resettle.



"After Turkey takes control of this region, everyone can be sure that (Islamic State) will not reappear," Erdogan said, adding that Turkey would either imprison or deport the Islamist militants and their families.



Tens of thousands of Islamic State members and their families were detained in northeast Syria after the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces, which are allied with the United States, defeated the militant group earlier this year.

I have had to think hard to post on this one. I knew deep down my instant reflexive thoughts were faulty.



My first thought was "they helped us" .. always portrayed as the "good guys". "We need to help them".



My second thought was .. wait a minute here ....  "they are Maoists who have created a rigid socialist totalitarian society right in the middle of Arabia" (you don't hear that fact much ... look it up).  



As always, there are always complications, reasons to fight for someone and there are always NO solutions in Arabia and we all need to get the hell out and stay out



ISIS is the only concern I have. If Turkey contains and or / kills them, fine. If it doesn't, we will have to deal with it ... hopefully killing them all instead of capture which just keeps it all going ... but PLEASE deal with NOTHING else .. and please make it conclusive as in ISIS is stone dead
