And then there's the future covid deaths as numbers are high and overall are getting higher



And BC is very low in cases compared to other of the larger provinces

I just checked and as of May 27, BC had 162 deaths, so those numbers are pretty close..



Like Alberta, it was in the secind wave that deaths have soared.

Hawaii confirms thousands of passengers from Calgary visited over Christmas



HONOLULU (660 NEWS) – Despite government calls to restrict all non-essential travel over the holidays, more than 2,500 passengers from Calgary visited the state of Hawaii over the holiday period.



Officials from the department of transport in that state confirmed to 660 NEWS that 2,534 passengers from Calgary passed through its airports between Dec. 18, 2020, and Jan. 3, 2021.



In a statement, Department of Transport spokesperson Tim Sakahara also confirms that more than 1,500 passengers from Vancouver and another 12 from Edmonton also visited Hawaii during that time.

Numbers keep increasing in Ontario and Quebec



Ontario (4,249) - The province reported a record-breaking number of new cases of COVID-19, citing a data backlog that accounts for about 450 of the newly-reported infections. (stilol 3,799 new cases, a record high following a week of well over 3000 new cases / day &  8,332 more than last week





Quebec (2,588) - The province reported 2,588 new cases and 45 more deaths due to COVID-19

Over the last 24 hrs Alberta recorded 1,183 new cases & completed about 16.7K tests....our positivity rate is about 6.8%..



There are 851 people in hospital, including 135 in ICU, and unfortunately twenty four new deaths were reported over the past 24hrs.

You guys are having a lot more deaths of late .. .for a long time you were very low rate / case but it really jumped last 2 weeks 0.95% to 1.15% today



After several weeks of less cases every week, we had 600 more than last week



I just found out that a very good elderly family friend who became personal friend of mate and I has it .. nurse says doing exceptionally well now and looks like she may recover



Damned care home she is in were so sloppy - claim they can't stop positives from roaming the floor  .. 1 even came into her room a cpl of weeks ago - the place claims they are not allowed to forcibly contain carriers so it spread to several - I say bullshit

Britain is getting hit extremely hard  .. . way harder than rest of Europe

One borough in London has 1 in 20 currently positive - UK has new 68,053 cases yesterday
