Most of Europe is growing cases rapidly now. The lull did not last long.

Deaths are down due to receding cases last month, but sadly will catch up with current cases on a major rise

UK for example was up 21% 2 weeks back & 31% last week will be up further as this week ends  .. many think it's virtually all the new   BA.2

France is risinf fast now and has a strange school problem where many students are ill ... restrictions returning to France

Most other Euro countries are again on the rise .. along with China and some of SE Asia

Second column is current week change of this week vs previous week

So, yes you read it right - it does mean that Alberta & Ontario are up a bit from previous week after being down the week before

For example. Alberta was 3,524 this week & 3,157 previous week  - deaths are down by 17 during that period

Fash. Has Alberta stopped giving out numbers?

Seems UK might have

Maybe they figured because regs  are gone it doesn't matter any more will just vanish ... like they can legislate it all away

or if no one mentions it. it will just go away

Good luck to them with that

Edit - Just found this ..."The province is not expected to provide updated COVID-19 figures until Wednesday, as the government moves to a once-a-week reporting schedule."

After cutoff time, UK got caught up Sat & Sun. Nothing yet for today

BA.2 Omicron sub-variant is now responsible for over a third of all cases in the USA.

The government of Alberta has not posted new COVID data since Friday.

I read that they will now post only on Wednesdays  ... I assume that's a weeks worth of data

Sask started that a month or so ago - To date they are the 2 only areas I know of to do that. I assume that's a part of the "we are going to pretend it's over / no big deal" thingy
