Wasnt the parliament filled with lords... The kings own men..



Pretty sure queen Victoria was in total control over the british empire.

And so was King George.



The parliament was there to add some more bureaucratic gears to the system just so it doesnt seem like they are controlled by one man or woman.



The members of parliament got a little slice of the power cake and it made them happy.

I'm gonna have to side with Caskur on this one. They might give the appearance of being ceremonial, but that particular mask surely slipped when we saw just for quickly the less than pleasant aspects of Prince Andrew's association with Jeffrey Epstein got swept under the carpet.



Those assholes have clout and the cunts have got teeth. If they wanted to fuck with the legacy of Oliver Cromwell, they'd figure a way to do it and make it stick.
