An Australian man who accused his former boss of bullying in the form of flatulence has lost in court again.

David Hingst, a 56-year-old engineer, says his supervisor Greg Short at Melbourne-based Construction Engineering would regularly walk into his office and let rip, the Associated Press reports.

"He would fart behind me and walk away. He would do this five or six times a day."

Short said he "may have done it once or twice", but otherwise denied the accusation.

The case went to the Victoria Supreme Court, but was dismissed last year - the judge saying flatulence didn't constitute bullying.

Making someone sniff your farts is as good as a marriage proposal in Australia. It would not surprise me to learn the court did not wish to return a verdict of guilty because homophobia.
