The liberals think the taser is a lethal weapon.. Whenever it suits their agenda..

So, according to the liberals, the Atlanta perp attempted to murder one of the cops.

Derek Chauvin will be convicted of second degree murder or a lesser charge. The Atlanta cop followed training and will be acquitted. Perhaps leading to Rodney King style rioting/looting.

cc

True. The Atlanta gross overcharging + mad rush to charge will bite them in the ass

Was he charged with second degree murder?

cc

The now-fired Atlanta Police officer who faces a felony murder charge .

Every jurisdiction is different but I think he was charged as strongly as it gets

The Democratic Party of Orange County, California, demanded removing actor John Wayne's name from its airport due to past "racist and bigoted" remarks Wayne made, it announced Friday.

The party created a resolution to remove Wayne's name and likeness based on Wayne's "white supremacist, anti-LGBT, and anti-Indigenous views" Wayne expressed in a 1971 interview, according to the document.

Was that considered controversial for 1974?

Odinson

Its not really controversial now..

He is surprisingly compromising.. He is just telling hard truths.

Nowadays, if you say something like "men and women arent physically the same"... You get burned at the stake.

I doubt it. But, Antifa doesn't like it, so it has to go. By force if necessary.

Kayleigh McEnany Slams Democratic Leadership For Chaos During Riots

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany opened up a press conference Monday by calling out Democratic leaders for 'aiding' the 'anarchy' that has swept the nation in recent weeks.

"Democrats at all levels, federal, state, and local have done nothing," MnEnany began, before criticizing Senate Democrats for blocking a GOP police reform bill last week. The bill, which was blocked without debate, would have included legislation on police body cameras and no-knock warrants.

"Three Democrat Minneapolis Council members voted to abolish the police while they themselves were getting a private detail – that's quite rich," McEnany said.

Following calls from activists to "abolish the police," people in Seattle created the "Capitol Hill Organized Protest" (CHOP) zone, which police are forbidden from entering.

Democratic Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot "called the CHOP zone, the autonomous zone, the 'summer of love,'" McEnany said. "It is anything but that – with one dead, multiple shootings, and desperate pleas for help unanswered by business owners and others."

"11 people were shot in 12 hours this weekend in the Democrat-run New York City, and 61 people were shot in Democrat-run Chicago and 15 fatally killed," she added. "A Democrat state, a Democrat city."

Poll: 88% Of Americans Say Attending Protests Is Risky For COVID-19 Spread

Eight-eight percent of Americans say protests are risky for the spread of coronavirus, according to a new poll released Tuesday.

Demonstrations that have followed the death of George Floyd, who died after a police officer knelt on his neck for over eight minutes, are perceived to be the most risky activity to spread COVID-19 among those surveyed, according to an Axios-Ipsos poll.

California has been a hotbed for both protests and the spread of coronavirus. The state has seen an uptick in COVID-19 cases amid mass demonstrations against perceived racial inequality.

The Golden State has had nearly 224,000 cases of the virus with roughly 6,000 deaths, according to the Los Angeles Times's tracker Tuesday morning. Public health leaders say demonstrations are "highly likely" to be the catalyst for the surge in cases, the Times reported.

Violent Crime Explodes Across American Cities Following Nationwide Protests

https://dailycaller.com/2020/07/06/violence-cities-protests-george-floyd-rayshard-brooks-riots/?utm_source=piano&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2360&pnespid=ku9pt6gFFlyNnrjsvQijLtHapm6v5gfoSt7Jef73">https://dailycaller.com/2020/07/06/viol ... foSt7Jef73">https://dailycaller.com/2020/07/06/violence-cities-protests-george-floyd-rayshard-brooks-riots/?utm_source=piano&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2360&pnespid=ku9pt6gFFlyNnrjsvQijLtHapm6v5gfoSt7Jef73

Violence has spiked in cities nationwide following weeks-long anti-police protests over the death of George Floyd, according to government statistics and media reports.

Both New York City and Minneapolis have had over 100 shootings since Floyd's May 25 death. In Los Angeles, the homicide rate rose 250% in just one week, and homicides in Atlanta have doubled since this time last year. Seattle's "Capital Hill Autonomous Zone" (CHAZ) led to a 525% increase in crime, including the death of two teenagers.

As crime rates rose, activists have called to abolish the police, an idea that's gained traction among liberals. Former Hillary Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon, singer John Legend and women's soccer star Megan Rapinoe have all supported dismantling the police, and protesters have touted the idea during demonstrations.

Vice president emeritus of the International Union of Police Associations and LAPD veteran Dennis Slocumb said that "if you don't want the police to be in your neighborhood, then you better get used to the crooks being there."

While the debate continues, many of the same cities who are calling to defund the police are seeing an unprecedented spike in crime.
