NewsNation host Chris Cuomo said in a lengthy monologue on his show Monday that he called former President Donald Trump after the latest assassination attempt because he's "ashamed" of the media's "unacceptable" lack of concern about the "threats" on Trump's life.

Cuomo who's certainly no fan of Trump told his audience he's bothered by "the lack of reaction to the second attempt on Trump in the last couple of months. 'Oh, but the [suspect] didn't even shoot.' What if it was your father? Or what if it was Kamala Harris? Or President Biden, God forbid? You think that it would be almost a shoulder shrug and more talk about the Secret Service and allocation of funds than just how crazy it is that this is what's happening in our country? That reaction of, 'Well, c'mon, don't make too much of it.' He had an AK-47 pointed at him! The reaction is unacceptable. And it's the second time media and political players have gotten away with playing down what should be a cause for panic."

Democrats and the media aren't telling the whole story as usual. Just like Project 2025 they repeat lies long after they have been debunked.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) refused on Tuesday to allow CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins to block him from telling the truth about an IVF-related bill.

Earlier in the day, the Senate failed to pass a bill that would provide federal protections for IVF. It was the second time the bill failed after nearly every Republican senator voted against it. Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) were the only Republicans who voted for it.

Collins herself parroted that narrative. Before introducing Cotton onto her show, she said:

Senate Republicans today blocked a bill that would guarantee access to the very thing that a lot of them say they support. It's also the very thing that we have heard Donald Trump say that he supports. Democrats tried and failed, again, to pass that measure, which would guarantee access to IVF nationwide. And tonight, they are using this vote to hammer Republicans who said, "No."
When it was finally Cotton's turn to speak, he told Collins that he needed to "correct almost everything you said in the lede in there."

"First off, there's no risk to IVF in this country. All 49 Republican senators, along with President Trump, support IVF. No state restricts or bans IVF," Cotton explained. "Second, this bill was about a lot more than just IVF."

"You said that it had to guarantee access. Access is guaranteed in all 50 states right now," he explained. "You also said that it was about IVF. It's about a lot more than IVF. This bill would mandate coverage for experimental controversial procedures, like cloning or gene editing or providing fertility treatments to men who think they're women, whatever that means."

As the interview went on, Collins repeatedly defended the bill, claiming "it would have guaranteed access to IVF." But Cotton was forced time and again to remind her that IVF access is prima facie guaranteed already because not a single state restricts it.

Get a grip you crazy cunt.

A progtard editor said it was evidence of "creeping Christian nationalism" after a flight attendant wished her a "blessed" night — and commenters on X reacted to the journalist's complaint with a barrage of scorn.

Mother Jones editor in chief Clara Jeffery wrote on X, "Creeping Christian nationalism alert: @AlaskaAir flight attendant just wished us a 'blessed' night as we landed in SFO.

Trump took aim at CBS News over the ongoing controversy involving "60 Minutes" editing comments made by Vice President Kamala Harris for its primetime election special.

"A giant Fake News Scam by CBS & 60 Minutes," Trump wrote Thursday on Truth Social. "Her REAL ANSWER WAS CRAZY, OR DUMB, so they actually REPLACED it with another answer in order to save her or, at least, make her look better. A FAKE NEWS SCAM, which is totally illegal."

"TAKE AWAY THE CBS LICENSE," he continued. "Election Interference. She is a Moron, and the Fake News Media wants to hide that fact. An UNPRECEDENTED SCANDAL!!! The Dems got them to do this and should be forced to concede the Election? WOW!"

The controversy stems from an exchange Harris had with "60 Minutes" correspondent Bill Whitaker about the Biden administration's relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which was released in full in a preview clip that aired on Sunday's "Face The Nation" but was edited for the primetime special.

Harris was mocked by conservatives for offering a lengthy "word salad" when she was asked why it seemed like Netanyahu wasn't listening to the U.S. However, the vice president's lengthy answer didn't make the version that aired on Monday night and a shorter, more focused answer to the same question was shown instead.

Critics have accused CBS News of aiding the Harris campaign by cleaning up her messy answer for the network's primetime audience.

JD Vance was forced on Tuesday to do the job of a journalist after the media appeared to cover for Jim Crow Joe.

"And just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a 'floating island of garbage.' Well, let me tell you something," Biden said on a call with Voto Latino. "In my home state of Delaware, they're good, decent, honorable people. The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters. His, his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it's un-American."

Despite the clarity with which Biden spoke, the White House, with an assist from the media, decided to pull a play straight from George Orwell's "1984."

After the comment began circulating on social media, the White House released an edited transcript of Biden's remarks. The transcript included an apostrophe in the phrase "his supporters," making it "his supporter's," thus suggesting that Biden was speaking about the "garbage" of Hinchcliffe and not directly calling all of Trump's supporters "garbage."

In lockstep, the media acted as stenographers for the White House. Politico, for example, directly printed the White House's version of Biden's remarks.

Vance responded to Politico by doing what the news outlet failed to do: He posted the actual video of Biden calling Trump supporters "garbage" rather than regurgitating an edited White House transcript. That way, Americans see and hear for themselves what Biden said.

"'The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.' That's a direct quote. That's what Kamala Harris's boss said. This is how Politico decided to report it[.] Do [Politico reporter Jonathan Lemire, Politico head of news Alexander Burns, and Politico] have an ounce of integrity? Will they correct this obvious falsehood?" Vance said.

Progtard media is shielding Harris from a disastrous October jobs report. On Friday, the October report revealed that the Biden-Harris administration added only 12,000 more jobs to the economy — the lowest increase since December 2020. According to Fox Business, LSEG economists previously predicted a 113,000 job gain.

While the private sector lost 28,000 jobs, the government "continued its upward trend in October," adding another 40,000 jobs, the report stated.

These alarmingly low job-growth numbers come after the Department of Labor's preliminary annual benchmark report in August, which revealed job gains were overstated by more than 800,000 from April 2023 to March 2024.

The administration has repeatedly overestimated its projected job growth. The DOL's numbers were revised downward by 81,000 in August and by 31,000 in September.

The corporate media machine quickly came up with excuses for the Biden-Harris administration's weak job gains, blaming them on Hurricanes Helene and Milton, as well as the Boeing labor strike.

Those news outlets did not previously extend the same understanding to former President Donald Trump, who faced unprecedented economic challenges as a result of COVID-19. An NBC News article from 2020 torched then-President Trump for gaining "just 661,000 jobs for September."

I saw that. The Biden administration has been consistently lying about it's job creation numbers.

Brent

During an interview on CBS' "Face the Nation," Marco Rubio argued that Trump is the presidential candidate who will promote safety and security in the U.S. and abroad. Margaret Brennan then used Rubio's assertion to confront him over, in her words, "Donald Trump talking about training guns on the face of Liz Cheney."

Instead of acknowledging that Trump was not, in fact, threatening Cheney, Brennan for a third time pushed the media's false narrative about Trump's words.

"We played the sound bite," Brennan said.

For Rubio, that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

"No, you played a piece of the sound bite, because, in another piece of it, he said he would give her a gun to go stand in conflict as well. You don't normally give a gun to someone that is going to be facing a firing squad, which is what much of the media made it sound like," Rubio said. "The point he was making is not a new point. It is a point that has been made by people in both parties for decades. And that is: You're all for war, and it's easy to be for war when you're in some fancy building and you're safe and sound in Washington, D.C."

After Rubio made the facts surrounding Trump's remarks indisputable, Brennan appeared to concede and stopped disagreeing with him.

"Yep," she said as Rubio continued speaking.

"Let's see how much you are for war when you yourself get deployed into combat. That's the point that he was making," he said. "That he uses language that maybe is not what we typically hear from someone that works at a think tank —"

"Yes," Brennan affirmed again.
