Today's liberals are not liberals in the traditional sense. Today's liberals are spoiled,  little, socially, coddled brats who throw tantrums when something doesn't go their way. They are the kind of people who literally cannot function unless they can drum up something to get all twisted up about. Emotionally many of them haven't moved beyond Jr. High School but because they love to erroneously claim the intellectual high ground, they think of themselves as enlightened. Unfortunately for them the truth is far different. Enlightenment is NOT achieved or even maintained by looking down your nose at others you might disagree with.



Traditional liberals are supposed to be very open minded,  that is literally the definition of a liberal but are today's so called "liberals" open minded individuals?...Sure they are as long as the pov falls within the boundaries of their ideology. ...For today's type of liberal, anything that falls outside their fake all inclusive box is contemptible. Just look at the language they use to refer to conservatives, Hillary's "a basket of deplorables" remark or Obama referring to working class midwesterners as "bitter" "clinging to their guns and God". This is how today's liberal actually views his fellow American that has a different ideological point of view.

Unfortunately I think most people professing to be fans of socialism are guided by a love of the theory of socialism. And frankly it's an attractive theory. Unfortunately from a historical perspective, the theory falls apart quite quickly. Every single failed socialist state always begins with the attitude of "this time around we are going to do it right".. ..Pffffft...Yeah, wake me up when human nature changes so drastically that we are ALL left with no ambition or the desire or the need for material wealth....Ain't going to happen in my lifetime...
