Here's today's update on hospitalizations from BC Health (which echos similar data from UK etc. etc. etc.)Past two weeks, cases hospitalized per 100,000 population after adjusting for age (Sept. 27-Oct. 10)

Not vaccinated: 40.3

Partially vaccinated: 12.3

Fully vaccinated: 2.3

As of today, vaccination rates 1st dose = 89.3% ....2nd dose = 83.3%

That's 54.9 per cent.

It's not a % - It represents per 100,000 in each group and produces an actual number / 100,000 for and with which to compare the frequency of occurrence of each group as to hospitalization

I like this way as when number is given in %, one has to then calculate those vaxxed and not vaxxed to compare the odds - this method produces a direct comparison (or odds of being hospitalized) for each group

No Problem

It shows  almost 20 X greater chance for unvaxxed individuals vs vacced individuals being hospitalized at a glance

BC Health site also shows relative odds of being infected

CASES per 100,000 population after adjusting for age (Sept. 27-Oct. 3)

Not vaccinated: 297.3

Partially vaccinated: 90.1

Fully vaccinated: 35.1

Exactly ... stats given in this form make comparison of groups (and relative odds for those in each group) easy

I forgot the link this time - it's same as one for hospitalizations above ^^ https://news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2021HLTH0060-001918">https://news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2021HLTH0060-001918

I can't find a similar site to the ones BC and Alberta have for Saskatchewan.

Only 905 adverse reactions from over 1.6 million doses administered....most of them mild too..

That's better than seasonal flu vaccines.

That's better than seasonal flu vaccines.

As someone posted, Aspirin has more serious side effects than either the mRNA or adenovirus vaccones.

Interesting.

The three most vocal and hysterical opponents of vaccination are American.

No wonder their country is properly fucked.
